The Mercury and Iris Cinemas are run by the Media Resource Centre to enhance screen culture and to give screening opportunities to emerging South Australian film, video and digital media artists.

To purchase tickets in advance, call 8410 0979 between 9:30 - 5:00 Monday to Friday with your credit card handy.

You can purchase movie tickets at the Mercury Cinema box-office half an hour prior to the advertised screening time.

Adelaide Cinémathèque is South Australia’s premier film society, offering a year long program of classic, cult, experimental, documentary, silent, short and premiere films. Cinémathèque is membership based so you cannot purchase tickets to single sessions. Memberships are excellent value, easy to purchase and you can choose an option that suits you best. Everyone’s invited to join, just one payment and you can enjoy inexpensive screen culture all year long.
