Dir: Carlos Caurón
2008 Mexico 103mins 35mm
Plucked from rural anonymity and a life picking bananas, talented half-brothers Tato and Beto are discovered by a major league football scout and signed up to rival teams. Their love/hate relationship is challenged in the capital city by fame, fortune and temptation as vice seduces their natural virtue. While Beto succumbs to dangerous addictions, Tato rides life in the fast lane. Both suffering the price of fame, their only hope is to reunite as brothers and meet on mutual turf. Stars Gael Garcia Bernal and Diego Luna.
