Message Sticks Indigenous Film Festival is the only festival in the world dedicated to films made by Indigenous people. The 2009 program features seven short films by new and emerging Australian directors including directorial debuts by Deborah Mailman & Leah Purcell; Ivan Sen's Fire Talker, a documentary of the life and times of Charles Perkins and Making Samson & Delilah, a candid, behind the scenes documentary of the making of the critically acclaimed new feature film.

Making the feature film Samson & Delilah was far from conventional. This candid and affectionate documentary captures the chaos behind the scenes and the people that made it happen.
