MANHATTAN SHORT FILM FESTIVAL 2009

From 428 entries submitted from 36 countries, the Manhattan Short Film Festival proudly introduces 10 finalists' films that will screen 532 times in 173 cities in 5 continents to an audience of over 100,000 people in 1 week.

From what started from a screen mounted onto the side of a truck on a downtown Manhattan street twelve years ago to 532 screens in 173 cities in 1 week, MSFF is not only the fastest growing film festival in the world, it's the fastest growing event in the world today.

This is the first time Adelaide is participating in this global event, so here's the lowdown on how it works... Whether you are attending this festival in Australia, Beijing, Argentina, Russia, Ireland or any of the 50 states of the USA, you will be handed a voting card upon entry. After the last film has screened, you will be asked to vote for the ONE film that is your favourite. Votes are tallied by each cinema and sent to Manhattan Short HQ where the winner is announced in NYC on Tuesday, September 29th 2009. We'll post the winners on the MRC website. Can Australia lay claim to the best short film in the World?

7:30pm Friday 25 September
