The year’s best South Australian made short and feature films are put on show, culminating in an awards night and party with the who’s who of the local filmmaking community.


The South Australian Screen Awards celebrate the depth of talent working in this state and recognises high achievement in production, direction, editing, cinematography and composition. There’s a different program each night, watch this space for a full listing closer to the screening date.

    3xperimentia is in 3D vision and showcases a new dance and art genre which is post-content in nature and constantly plays with the theme of illusion.

    In 2008 the live-edit version was launched and presented in the South Australian Living Artists Festival (SALA) and the Antistatic Reeldance Festival - the film clips triggered through touch activation, operator manipulation and audio-reactive environments, making each performance unique. All versions of the work can be seen in both anaglyphic and polarized formats. Please note that for the SASA Best Of screenings a pre-rendered version of 3xperimentia will be shown, and the live-edit performance will again be performed for the Adelaide Fringe 2009 at The Mercury Cinema from March 11 - 22.
